$1,300,000 – Homeland Security Officer injures low back

Plaintiff Homeland Security Officer was exiting the ship’s gangway to a launch vessel. While at the base of the gangway, the ship’s gangway operator prematurely shifted the gangway, shooting the Plaintiff into the air and onto the deck of the launch vessel. As a result of the accident, the Plaintiff sustained a sacroiliac injury and required a fusion surgery.
